10 November 2015. PNG Biomass is privileged to be able to provide sponsorship to support he inaugural PNG Clean and Renewable Energy Conference commencing this morning, Tuesday 10 November, at The University of Papua New Guinea.
The two day conference is bringing together the most influential individuals from government and the private sector, along with representatives from international development partners and highly specialised academic researchers, to exchange ideas on the long-term role that renewable energy sources will play in improving access to electricity across PNG.
PNG Biomass Project has management and staff across technical, commercial and operations business units in attendance to advocate for the potential for biomass energy to improve the energy-mix, increasing electricity affordability while providing tangible environmental and social benefits to PNG communities.
Technical Director for the PNG Biomass Project, Dr Andrew Grogan, is scheduled to make a presentation to delegates in attendance at noon on the final day of the conference, Wednesday 11 November.
PNG Biomass is also displaying the latest in clean energy biomass stoves from Biolite and African Clean Energy (ACE).
