In November 2017, PNG Biomass engaged consultants from South Pole Group to conduct five local stakeholder consultation sessions as part of our carbon certification under the Gold Standard for the Global Goals. The process of these consultations is shown in this post and video. Meanwhile, South Pole has prepared two official Stakeholder Consultation Reports that capture the findings from the five consultation sessions with the local community, regional, and national stakeholders.
As part of the certification process we are required to make stakeholder consultation reports publically available for all the stakeholders to provide feedback, in particular, if the reports capture correctly and accuracy the answers they gave and the comments they made during the stakeholder consultation meetings.
All relevant stakeholders are encouraged to download and read the two reports and have two months to provide feedback to PNG Biomass. Feedback needs to be received by PNG Biomass by Monday 2 July 2018.
Feedback can be provided by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
Hard copies of the report are available upon request from the PNG Biomass office at Awilunga Estate, 9 Mile, Lae, Morobe Province, Papua New Guinea. Please call ahead (+675 475 8560) to ensure hard copies are available and to arrange for an appointment for pick-up.
